Welcome to The Mental Breakdown and Psychreg Podcast! Today, Dr. Berney and Dr. Marshall interview Dr. Robert Cramer, an Associate Professor of Community Health at Old Dominion University (ODU). Before joining ODU in 2016, he served as faculty/staff at the University of Alabama Department of Criminal Justice, Sam Houston State University Department of Psychology, and University of California San Francisco Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Robert completed his PhD and master’s degree at the University of Alabama. He did his BA Psychology at Loyola University Maryland, where he graduated summa cum laude. As a broadly trained social scientist, his research, teaching, and consulting applies psychological theory to social, legal and clinical-health issues. His areas of expertise include suicide prevention, violence, prejudice, LGBTQ health, and legal decision-making.
