Recently, a listener wrote in and asked:
My son is 11 years old and is diagnosed and treated for ADHD. While he did very well in elementary school, now that he is in middle school, he is having a hard time getting to sleep. We will make him go to bed at his usual time of 9:00, but he will still be awake at 11 or even midnight sometimes. What could be causing this problem?
In this podcast, Dr. Berney responds to this listener question and talks about some of the reasons why children may have difficulty sleeping.
