We all experience depression at times in our life. However, for some, those common symptoms turn into a more serious, debilitating condition. In fact, some of our “heroes” – such as Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, actor Own Wilson, and NFL Hall Of Fame Terry Bradshaw – experience severe depression, despite having what many would consider an “ideal life.”

In this podcast, Dr. Berney talks about the biopsychosocial aspects of depression, which include the interactions between our chemicals, thoughts, and relationships in the manifestation of depression.
